Ventec Expands Thailand Operations with $31 Million Investment in New Self-Owned Facility

On November 7, 2025, Taiwan-listed CCL supplier Ventec International Group (6672.TW) announced an increase in investment for its Thailand subsidiary, Ventec Electronics (Thailand) Co., Ltd., and confirmed the launch of a new self-owned factory construction project.

Ventec stated that the total investment for the Thailand facility has been raised to a maximum of USD 31 million, citing higher raw material prices and design specification adjustments as the main reasons for the increase. The company noted that the funds will be allocated for land development, building construction, interior works, and equipment purchases.

The investment will be executed in phases starting in 2025, with funding sourced from internal capital, bank loans, or, pending board approval, additional financing applications to Taiwan's Securities and Futures Bureau.

The Thai subsidiary has officially commenced construction on its self-owned manufacturing facility, following the signing of a construction contract with China Construction Engineering (Thailand) Co., Ltd. The total contract value amounts to 487.93 million Thai baht (approximately RMB 100 million) and covers production areas, warehousing, office spaces, and supporting infrastructure. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2025, with the completion timeline dependent on progress and equipment installation schedules.

In addition, to support the plant's construction and capacity expansion, Ventec's board has approved the issuance of NT$500 million (approximately USD 15 million) in unsecured convertible corporate bonds. The proceeds will be used to supplement working capital and finance the Thailand facility's building and equipment investments.

Ventec’s chairman Wong Yu-Tzu (王有慈), general manager Chung Chien-Jen (钟健人), and director Chiu Yi-Cheng (邱奕诚) attended the signing ceremony, underscoring the company’s commitment to strengthening its global production network.

The Thailand project marks another milestone in Ventec's strategy to enhance its regional supply chain resilience and meet growing demand for high-performance CCL materials in the PCB industry.
