Three PCB Industry Companies Announce Major Leadership Changes

On July 17, 2025, Finland-based PCB manufacturer Aspocomp appointed Terhi Launis as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective September 1. Launis, who previously served as CFO of Koiviston Auto Oy, brings extensive financial leadership experience from companies such as Finnair Cargo, Owens Corning, and Kemira GrowHow. She joins Aspocomp's management team during a pivotal growth phase, with CEO Manu Skyttä emphasizing her business-oriented mindset and strategic expertise.

Current CFO Jouni Kinnunen, who has been with the company since 1984, will remain through the transition before retiring. Aspocomp, headquartered in Espoo with manufacturing in Oulu, serves global customers in telecommunications, automotive, industrial electronics, and semiconductor testing.

Meanwhile, in the United States, Rogers Corporation (NYSE: ROG) announced the departure of CEO Colin Gouveia on July 12. Ali El-Haj, a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in automotive and manufacturing sectors, has been named interim CEO. El-Haj previously led Techniplas and CAP-CON Automotive Technologies through major turnarounds and strategic expansions. Rogers Corporation is a leading engineered materials provider with global operations, including facilities in China, Germany, and South Korea.

In another development, Flexible Circuit Technologies (FCT), a Minnesota-based flexible circuit and electronics manufacturing service provider, has appointed Derek Rossberg as Regional Business Development Manager. Rossberg brings 16 years of flex circuit industry experience and will support the company's growth across medical, automotive, industrial, and high-performance computing markets. The appointment comes as FCT celebrates its 25th anniversary, reinforcing its commitment to design innovation and global expansion.

These leadership transitions and strategic investments reflect the dynamic evolution of the global PCB and electronics supply chain, driven by talent shifts and market demand for high-performance interconnect solutions.
