The Chinese A-share listed company, Sunshine Global Circuits (SGC, 300739.SZ) is expanding production at its Jiujiang No. 2 factory in Jiangxi Province, China, with the launch of a new high-speed server PCB project. The initiative will add several thousand square meters of capacity, reflecting growing demand for advanced printed circuit boards in data center and networking applications.

Key upgrades at the facility include the installation of a fourth fully automatic inner layer resist coating line, more than 30 new drilling machines with high-precision backdrill capability, and Sen-Ei Tech backdrill inspection equipment. The factory has also introduced oversize panel capability of 1173mm x 730mm to support large line card production.

On the technology side, SGC continues to advance its X-via process, which leverages laser drilling to create high-density interconnections between layers. Compared with traditional mechanical drilling, X-vias enable smaller diameters, tighter spacing, and improved signal integrity—features increasingly critical in high-performance computing and communications hardware.

In addition to its manufacturing expansion, Sunshine Global Circuits made its debut at the Small Satellite Conference 2025 in Salt Lake City, Utah, earlier this month. The company showcased its PCB technologies to a global audience of researchers, manufacturers, and aerospace firms, with visitors from across the U.S., Korea, and Japan. The appearance underscores SGC's growing engagement with the satellite and aerospace sectors.

Looking ahead, the company plans to highlight its latest products at PCB West 2025, scheduled for October at the Santa Clara Convention Center in California.
