On July 30, STARTEAM GLOBAL announced that Jiangyou STARTEAM (JST) factory in China has successfully developed 20-layer rigid PCBs, marking a significant milestone in the company's high-density, multi-layer board manufacturing capabilities.

JST, STARTEAM's advanced PCB manufacturing base located in Jiangyou, Sichuan Province, plays a key role in the group's global production network. The factory specializes in complex, high-reliability PCB solutions for sectors such as automotive, industrial, and communications.

The recent 20-layer project brought together engineering, quality, and production teams, and was completed after two months of close coordination and technical refinement. The result is a robust product with impressive technical specifications:

 ● Layer-to-layer registration accuracy: ≤ 75μm

 ● Layer structure:

 • Inner layers: 0.086 mm / 0.082 mm
 • Outer layers: 0.10 mm / 0.11 mm

 ● Total board thickness: 2.0 ±10% mm

 ● Minimum drill size: 0.25 mm, aspect ratio 8:1

 ● Surface finish: ENIG, with impedance control

Micro-sectioning and thermal stress testing (288°C for 10 seconds, up to 6 cycles) revealed no delamination, cracks, or voids, confirming the board's mechanical and thermal reliability. Additional validation according to automotive-grade standards is currently underway.
