Recently, the Chief Technology Officer, Martin Schneider, and Chief Manufacturing Officer, HB Yang, of Starteam Global, the parent company of Jiangyou Starteam Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., a PCB manufacturer in Sichuan, China, visited Robert Bürkle GmbH, a global leader in press and coating technologies. This visit in Taicang, China led to an exciting development: they are now integrating Bürkle's Laminating and Press System WorkCell into production lineup at PST factory in Thailand, significantly increasing production capacity. Starteam has PCB production facilities in Jiangyou, Sichuan, China, and in Pathum Thani, Thailand.

This top-tier machine can manage high pressure ranges and temperatures and interact seamlessly with Starteam Manufacturing Execution System (MES), promising improved workflow at  Starteam facility. Here are the key highlights of the machine:

1.Pressure settings adjustable from 62 to 1500 kN for versatile usage.

2.High-temperature resistance up to 260 °C for reliable operation.

3.Seamless MES integration via uploading parameters and downloading 2D barcode on the cover plate for heightened efficiency.

Bürkle manufactures versatile press systems catering to various industries, including PCB, CCL, IC, plastic card, and woodworking. These systems are produced in facilities located in Germany (Freudenstadt), Hungary, and Taicang, with the Taicang plant, which opened two years ago, replacing their previous factory in Shanghai.

During the line tour, they learned about Bürkle's flexible setup for managing projects either entirely in-house, in Germany, China, or combining locations based on project needs.  Their team was particularly impressed by Bürkle's efficient, high-quality operations, including their well-structured product assembly process backed by an advanced loading system.
