ISU Petasys Prepares for Mass Production of AI Accelerator PCBs in Partnership with Rebellions and FuriosaAI

ISU Petasys, the South Korea-based parent company of ISU Petasys Hunan Limited (Lishu Quanchuang Technology Co., Ltd.), a PCB manufacturing firm based in Hunan, China, announced on July 11 that it is preparing for mass production of AI accelerator PCBs through strategic collaborations with local AI chip startups Rebellions and FuriosaAI.

ISU Petasys has earned global recognition for supplying high-performance PCBs for servers and data centers to top-tier hyperscale customers. With this partnership, the company aims to expand its strategic footprint in the domestic AI infrastructure market.

Rebellions is gaining traction in South Korea's AI chip industry with its proprietary inference chips “ATOM” and “ATOM-Max,” while FuriosaAI is developing a high-performance AI accelerator called “Renegade” designed for large language models (LLMs) and multimodal applications. Both chips feature high-speed data transmission, requiring advanced high-layer PCBs optimized for such performance. ISU Petasys is currently conducting technical verification and supplying prototypes for both companies.

Through these collaborations, ISU Petasys seeks to move beyond being a component supplier and strengthen its position as a key infrastructure provider for South Korea's AI semiconductor ecosystem. By leveraging its global manufacturing expertise, the company plans to support the commercialization of AI chip-based systems and servers, contributing to the nation's goal of achieving greater self-sufficiency in AI technologies.

An ISU Petasys representative stated, “As Rebellions and FuriosaAI move toward full commercialization, our high-value PCB technology is well-positioned to boost competitiveness in both domestic and international AI infrastructure markets.”

In 2024, ISU Petasys reported consolidated revenue of KRW 836.9 billion (approx. USD 610 million), operating profit of KRW 101.9 billion, and net income of KRW 74 billion. The company expects continued growth in 2025 through partnerships with global IT firms and promising domestic players.
