Japan-based PCB equipment maker Inspec (TYO: 6656) has announced it will not renew its exclusive distributor agreement with Taiwan Kong King Co., Ltd. (TKK), which handled Inspec's product sales in China and Taiwan. The agreement officially ended on April 30, 2025.
According to Inspec, the decision reflects a shift in its overseas sales strategy and future market outlook. The company plans to build a more flexible and effective sales network by exploring new partnerships and restructuring its distribution channels across Asia.
TKK, founded in 1977 and based in Luzhu District, Taoyuan City, serves as a distributor of electronic manufacturing equipment and materials. It previously handled Inspec's RA series (roll-to-roll FPC inspection systems) and SX series (precision substrate inspection systems).
Inspec stated that the decision will have no impact on its financial performance for the fiscal year ending April 2025. It also confirmed that service support will continue through the end of applicable warranty periods.
