April 18, 2025 – Huawei has unveiled an ambitious recruitment initiative as part of its 2025 “Brave New World” campaign, aiming to hire over 10,000 outstanding graduates across more than 60 roles. These positions include AI engineers, software developers, hardware engineers, and AI algorithm specialists. The company's focus is on advancing key areas such as AI large models, high-performance computing, and ecosystem development.

Huawei's recruitment efforts are set to attract top talent in cutting-edge fields, strengthening its workforce in strategic areas. In addition to full-time positions, the company has also introduced internship programs across various sectors, including development, testing, frontier technology research, and finance. Huawei plans to cultivate over 5,000 future leaders through these internships in 2025.

Huawei is committed to fostering a new talent ecosystem within the company, offering multi-level training programs and customized growth paths to employees. In 2024 alone, nearly 10,000 employees benefited from internal training and skill conversion programs, resulting in significant career development and role transitions.

One of Huawei's standout initiatives is its open talent ecosystem. Through collaborations with over 100 universities and numerous ecosystem partners, including projects focused on HarmonyOS, Kunpeng, and Ascend, Huawei has successfully cultivated a developer community with over 10 million members. In a similar move, Tencent also launched its own recruitment plan on the same day, aiming to create 28,000 new internship positions over the next three years. Of these, 10,000 internships will be available in 2025, with 60% of the roles focused on technology. Tencent's open positions span across technical, product, design, marketing, and functional roles, further expanding opportunities in AI, big data, cloud computing, and game development.
