Beshtau Technologies to Launch High-Precision PCB Production in $14M Investment Plan

On July 7 (local time), Beshtau Technologies LLC (Rostov-on-Don), a subsidiary of Beshtau Group, signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Rostov regional government at the Innoprom-2025 international industrial exhibition. The project aims to localize serial production of high-precision printed circuit boards (PCBs), microwave laminates, and prepregs in Russia.

The company plans to invest 1.2 billion rubles (approximately $14 million or 100 million yuan) in the first phase of the project, which will run from 2025 to 2027. This phase will focus on producing class 6–7 high-precision PCBs using partially localized materials. Production is expected to reach full capacity in 2027, creating 105 high-tech jobs—about 75% of operations will be automated.

The second phase, planned for completion in 2028, will establish localized production of microwave laminates, a critical material used in wave filters, antennas, servers, and other high-performance electronics. Investment details for this phase have not been disclosed.

“These components are critical for industries such as aviation, drones, telecommunications, and computing,” said Igor Sorokin, Deputy Governor of the Rostov region. “This project will help reduce Russia's dependence on imports and provide domestic manufacturers with world-class components.”

Leading Manufacturer of PCB Wet Process Equipment TechWin

Beshtau Technologies LLC was founded in January 2024 and is led by CEO and sole owner Oleg Osipov, who co-founded Beshtau Group. While its core business has been software development, the company is now expanding into hardware manufacturing.

Beshtau Group, established in 2021, is a rapidly growing Russian producer of computer equipment and microelectronics, with facilities in Rostov-on-Don and Essentuki (Stavropol Territory). In 2024, the group manufactured 325,000 electronic devices—more than triple the output of the previous year.

The full-cycle localization of high-precision PCB and microwave laminate production is expected to significantly strengthen Russia's technological sovereignty and open new opportunities for the country's electronics industry.
