On November 13, the leading global PCB supplier NCAB Group announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire 100 percent of the shares of the long-established Swedish PCB company Multi-Teknik Mönsterkort AB. The purchase price is SEK 141 million, equivalent to USD 15.0 million and CNY 106.3 million.
Founded in 1975, Multi-Teknik has a 50-year history in the PCB industry. The company previously operated a PCB manufacturing plant in Gothenburg, Sweden, before discontinuing production in 2008 and transitioning into a dedicated PCB trading business. It currently operates offices in Gothenburg, Vilnius, and Hong Kong/Shenzhen.
During the 2024/25 fiscal year, Multi-Teknik generated SEK 110 million in net sales (approximately USD 11.7 million / CNY 82.9 million) and recorded an EBITA just below SEK 20 million (approximately USD 2.1 million / CNY 15.1 million). The company employs 15 staff, including eight in Gothenburg, five in China, and two in Lithuania. Its long-standing presence has given it a solid customer base across western Sweden, complementing NCAB's stronger coverage in other parts of the country. Its customers span the industrial, automotive, telecom, and medical sectors.

The transaction remains subject to regulatory approval and is expected to be completed in December this year. Multi-Teknik's senior management team will remain during a transition period to ensure a smooth integration. NCAB expects the deal to generate synergies in supplier management, payment-term optimization, and logistics efficiency, with a positive contribution to group earnings beginning in 2026.

NCAB Group CEO Peter Kruk commented:
"We have been keeping our eyes on Multi-Teknik for a long time and are pleased to have completed this acquisition. The timing was right for the owners to let the company enter a new phase. Multi-Teknik is known for its high quality and technical know-how and strengthens our position in the Swedish market. With the support of NCAB's global organization, the company will continue to develop successfully."
Multi-Teknik's former owners Kristian Orrsäter and Patrik Johansson issued a joint statement:
"Our family has a long history in the PCB industry, dating back to when we operated our own factory. Much has changed since then, and we believe now is the right moment to hand over. Selling our life's work to NCAB is the best solution for both our customers and our employees. As part of NCAB, the company will continue to advance in technology and service, while offering employees greater opportunities within a larger global organization."
