SCOPE Industries Berhad is primarily an investment holding company with subsidiaries involved in the manufacturing and assembly of electrical and electronic components and products, oil palm cultivation, and trading of electrical and electronic products. The largest subsidiary, SCOPE Manufacturers (M) Sdn. Bhd. (SMSB), has been operating for over two decades and specializes in the assembly of printed circuit boards (PCBA). SMSB is one of the largest local companies in Malaysia focused on PCBA and its main plant is strategically located in the Parit Buntar industrial area in Perak, which is close to Penang.
