COMPEQ's subsidiary makes mammoth investment: acquires equipment worth nearly RMB 153 million from related entity

On May 2nd, Taiwan-listed company COMPEQ (2313.TW) disclosed that its subsidiary, COMPEQ (THAILAND) CO., LTD., had acquired equipment valued at around Nt $681 million (equivalent to approximately RMB 153 million) from Pelican Cove Investment Ltd. during the period from April 9th to May 2nd. Pelican Cove Investment Ltd. is a related entity of COMPEQ (2313.TW).

Located in the Asia Industrial Estate in Bang Bo District, Samut Prakan Province, Thailand, COMPEQ (THAILAND) CO., LTD. covers an area of approximately 112-3-67.6 Rai (equal to 180,670.4 square meters). The facility is projected to have an initial production capacity of 300,000 square feet per month. Small-scale production is set to begin by the end of 2024, with the first products being primarily PCB boards designed for satellite applications.
